Weekly Results – Week Ending 12 July 2026

✅ Arrests

1 arrest made for multiple shoplifting offences and recall to prison. The individual arrested is a prolific offender linked to repeated theft-related offences.

✅ Proactive Patrols

Officers conducted 3 stop and searches in areas identified through local concerns and ongoing policing activity.

✅ Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

2 Anti-Social Behaviour Warnings were issued to individuals whose behaviour was having a negative impact on the community.

✅ Vehicle Recovery

Officers successfully recovered a vehicle that had been reported as stolen.

✅ Disrupting Criminality

Through proactive patrols and intelligence-led policing, officers have identified an individual believed to be involved in drug-related activity in the Narrow Way area.

The team has also developed a better understanding of activity within Hackney Downs Park, which will assist in targeting patrols and addressing issues raised by residents.

Looking Ahead

Over the coming week, officers will continue high-visibility patrols across Hackney Central and Hackney Downs, with a focus on:

Supporting community safety around Hackney Central and Hackney Downs stations.

Addressing anti-social behaviour and crime hotspots.

Working with local partners to tackle issues affecting residents.

Engaging with the community at local contact sessions, including the ASB Surgery at Wilton Way Café, 63 Wilton Way, E8.
